Pygmalion
Okay: back now, after yet more extremely exciting adventures. I could blog about them, but in the meantime: does anyone want to go and see Pygmalion at the Oxford Playhouse next week? Duncan saw it in Cambridge and highly recommends.

Any anyway, why would you bother going to a provincial performance when you could go to the West End / National? (is there anything on at the mo we should go to?)

Will have another go calling some time - when is good for you these days?

Yes, I really really want to see this. I wondered if we could have ALES christmas dinner and then trip to Old Vic, but tickets are going at about 30UKP and I didn't know if it would be unfair on skint ALES.

Why not have it as a separate ALES outing? Esp as Christmas dinner often seems to fall when I have to be in York.

However, I have already organised one ludicrously-in-advance theatre outing this year, and wouldn't want to get a reputation for either organising-things-ludicrously-in-advance or liking the theatre, so who can be found to sort it out...?

I would like to see that, actually. Do you already have a date in mind?

Great. I think Mon-Thurs are all good, though I should find my diary.

OK, I can't do Monday or Friday (or one other night to be determined, but that can fit around theatre-going) - so pick one mid-week.
